Privacy policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, to deliver and personalise your pattern.
- Order details (what you bought, when, the amount, your billing country and when your files were delivered and downloaded), to resend files, provide support and keep our accounting records.
- If you join our newsletter: your email address, to send new patterns and offers. Unsubscribe any time.
- If you send us a review or photo: the first name, location and image you agree to share.
- If you use our contact form: your name, email and message, only to reply to you.
Payments are processed by Polar (our merchant of record), which handles your card details, billing address and tax information. We never see or store your card number.
Who we share it with
- Polar — payment processing, invoices and tax compliance.
- Resend — to send your order email.
- Vercel — website hosting and image storage.
- Neon — database for orders, reviews and newsletter sign-ups.
- Cloudflare — domain name and forwarding of emails sent to hello@heycrochet.com.
- Google — our email inbox, where your messages to us are kept.
Some of these providers store data outside your country (mainly in the United States), under their own data-protection safeguards. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies; the site only sets a cookie when our own staff sign in.
Your rights
The person responsible for your data is Dang Mai Anh (Vietnam), who runs HeyCrochet together with the designer Chip with Yarn.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time by emailing hello@heycrochet.com. Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires (up to 10 years); everything else is deleted on request.
