How do I get my pattern after paying?+
Right after checkout you'll see a download button, and a personal PDF is emailed to the address you entered — usually within 2 minutes. The email also contains a download link you can use again later.
I didn't receive the email.+
Check Spam / Promotions and search for “HeyCrochet”. If it's not there after 15 minutes, contact us with your order email and we'll resend it straight away.
Which language and terms are the patterns written in?+
All patterns are written in clear, simple English. The crochet terms used are listed on each pattern page — see the common abbreviations below.
Do I need an account?+
No. Just your email address. Your receipt and invoice come from our payment partner Polar.
Which currencies and payment methods do you accept?+
Prices are shown in USD and you can pay with all major credit and debit cards from almost anywhere in the world. VAT, GST and US sales tax are calculated automatically at checkout.
Why is my name printed on the PDF?+
Each copy is personalised with the buyer's name, email and order number. It protects independent designers from piracy and lets us help you quickly if you ever need a replacement.
Can I sell what I make?+
Yes! You can sell finished items made from our patterns, small batch. Please credit “Pattern by Chip with Yarn”. You may not share, resell or reprint the PDF itself. See the pattern license.
Can I print the pattern?+
Of course — print as many copies as you need for your own use. Many makers also follow along on a tablet with a PDF highlighter app.
I'm stuck on a round. Can you help?+
Yes, pattern support is free. Reply to your order email with the round number and a photo if you can, and we'll help you out.
